Today marks my parents’ 36th wedding anniversary! Thirty-six years ago they recited their vows and pledged their love to one another in front of God and their friends and family. It has been an eventful 36 years that has created an exceptionally strong bond. After all these years they still have long conversations with one another, everyday they discuss the goings-on of the day, spend time with one another (you can usually find them together), and on certain nights you can find them on the sofa together watching their favorite shows or enjoying a movie. My parents possess a rare kind of love that one hopes to experience in their lifetime.
