When I read this love story the first thing that came to me was that this couple was truly meant to be. It’s funny how we cross paths with people never knowing what kind of roll they will play in our lives. I was so moved by their story I had to share, so you can read just how incredible their love story truly is.

Kriselda Tello & Mark Perez

My fiancé’s name is Mark, we have known each other since we started CCD class in Junior High. We were both in different junior highs however went to same church in Mission. I did not really associate myself with him as we had different classes but I would notice that he would stare at me. Well, I did not pay much attention to this little boy. As the years passed and our circle of friends seemed to get closer, I started seeing more of this guy around school. I was your nerdy somewhat party animal student. During my senior year, I attended school for half a day due to attending college during the afternoon. I attempted to spend as much time as I could with my friends because it was our senior year and I wanted to make memories. Well, the little boy that kept looking at me when we were younger was now one of my friends. According to Mark, he remembers that he would try so hard to attempt to get my attention but I was not interested in him. He always says the story of him lending me his leather man jacket in one of the away foot ball games. Well a couple of years go by and as I am in my college years I received a Boxer puppy from my uncle as a birthday gift. My dog was stolen from my own back yard and I was devastated. Well, thanks to Facebook, I was able to contact the person that I thought would be able to help me because that little kid had now become a police officer. So, I contacted him to see if he would be able to help me out in this situation. Well Mark and I started talking more and more while he was “trying to find my dog”. I have no idea how he did it but he calls me one day and tells me that as he was driving to my house, he sees a boxer dog that looked a lot like mine. To make a long story short, I found my dog and got her back. As we kept talking and spending more time hanging out, I started noticing that this guy was just a total sweet heart. The first detail that he had with me was that he bought me a flower arrangement with some white tulips. The arrangement had a little note on it reading, “I had a dream that I gave you these flowers.”. Mark and I kept hanging out and we took our relationship to the next level. I remember one day while I was getting out of work I see a little white plastic bag on the hood of my car. I look inside and see a water bottle and a ramen soup packet. The label on the water bottle read, “this water is to wash away all your stress and problems” and the label on the soup packet read, “This soup is to remind you that I am soup-er in love with you.” That was the moment that I fell in love with that little kid who would always stare at me. He is corny, very cheesy but always loves to hear me laugh.
